I'm normally down for any opportunity to point and laugh at Notre Dame, but this is just sad.

Excuse the upchuck, with uniforms like that they should be playing the University of Chicago's Economic's department all star team not a real team. I give up on uniforms.
Somebody needs to throw a little water on the few smoldering remains of that program and just put it out for good.

I just hope Nike dosn't get any stupid ideas for Bama's uniforms. I can see a few little accents here and there from time to time, but those ND uniforms and especially helmets are beyond rediculous.
I think the uniforms look good, and I think the left half of the helmet (from the player's POV) looks ok. The shiny gold is pretty ugly though.

Great historic teams don’t change their uniforms or they make minimal changes…New York Yankees, Montreal Canadiens, Boston Celtics, Green Bay Packers, The University of Alabama. Notre Dame used to be on that list. I can’t believe the AD or the head coach didn’t have veto power over Adidas and say “no” to those terrible helmets.."

the more of these things i see, the more it makes me cherish the awesome simplicity of our uniforms.
Everyone is saying they hate them, but not too many giving reasons why. What is it about the uniforms that everyone hates about them (besides the helmet and besides the fact that it's ND, obviously)?
The only thing worse than all these new uniforms is all the threads dedicated to talking about all these new uniforms 
I dunno, I'm not old school by any means, but I'd rather see a top 25 full of Notre Dame's , Nebraska's and Michigan's no matter how much I hate them rather than the Boise State's, Oregon's & the TCU's of the world.
CFB just seems better when the teams you knew when you were growing up are powerful, no matter how much you hate them, and trust me, I hate them.
