Wrong.

You're trying to change the rules midstream.

GA wont be in and they dont deserve to be in. Be mad at the committee when it happens.

And if they are in then we will beat them again. It makes little difference to me.

I just dont know in what universe you include a team that showed it can play it's best game and still lose a game.

I change my mind. They aren't one of the 4 best teams in teams in the country, and if they are then we are so far ahead of everybody else that it isnt funny.

I've never seen Bama play a worse game and still win. I've never seen a team play better against Bama and still lose.

That type of loss doesn't happen to one of the best 4 teams in the country.

We all think they are top 4 right now because of how tough and physical the game was but the truth is that was the worst execution. we had all year...and we still won.

That's usually only possible against teams like Arkansas and Ole Miss...not a team in the SEC Championship game.

Georgia is not one of the 4 best teams in the country and if they are then everyone is truly doomed.

One thing is for sure. They aren't as good as Alabama and the only way to find out if someone else is is for them to play us.

Georgia failed. Again. They're done.

I've heard similar things and thought the same. What do we expect, he went to UGA. They are the most arrogant fans I've ever encountered, and I still can't figure out why they are so arrogant. I've always thought you had to earn greatness, but they seem to just keep saying they are and hoping they can prove it later. I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today!

I can definitely attest to that.

You know until the NCG earlier this year I have never been around UGA fans... I take that back Ive been around 1 but he was a weirdo and was a pretty good fan. But my Auburn friends (yes I have some) kept telling me that they were the worst fans to be around. I was like "worst than Michigan and Florida fans? (sorry Bazza I had very bad experiences with Florida fans during Spurrier and Urban's runs)" I have to tell you UGA fans are a different breed. Barking at you, talking about how great Atlanta is compared to every Podunk town in Alabama, and just off the wall obnoxiousness. I had a chance to go yesterday, and I said Ill pass because Ive had enough of UGA fans in the state of Georgia during a ball game to last a lifetime, and Ill wait until they bring their butt to T-town in 2020.

I want to bump this thread back up because I didn't have access to my laptop this weekend and I also had phone issues. So I didn't get to fully express my thoughts on Kirby's post game attitude and comments. I can now say I officially can't stand Kirby Smart. Some of the stuff that came out when he exited Bama (picture of recruiting board etc), former players beginning to express their opinion of him, and now a very arrogant, ungrateful, disrespectful showing in the post game of the SECCG.

First off Kirby, you can quit with the "we are the better team" (even though you've lost two times in a row) arrogance. The game is and always has been 60 minutes. The better team is always the one who can play the full 60 and win. Not the team that plays the best first 30 then comes out the second 30 and soils their pants because they crumble under the pressure.

Second, show a little respect to a coach who took you under his wing, took time with you to pass down to you some of the best football knowledge you could have ever received. "That man" didn't have to keep you on his staff for 11 years. "That man" could have easily found a replacement and still won 6 NC's. But you couldn't have gotten where you've gotten without him. So show a little respect to "that man" who you owe where you are today and address him by his name, "Coach Saban". I think he's earned it.

Sitting there listening to this wuss job whine and cry in his postgame presser just made me think of that scene in Smokey & the Bandit where Little Enos told Bandit "I'd like to kick...". Somebody should have walked up to the podium and put five knuckles in his ungrateful mouth.

No doubt he's a "Jawja boy". He fits right in with their fans.

Kirby is an outright donkey. I’ve been hearing things since 2013 about him, and stuff has just gotten worse. Like I said, Jeremy Pruitt looks like the unstable hothead on TV, but he is the real adult of the two behind the microphone and off the field. Kirby is a whiny baby that believes is a great coach and is on equal standing with CNS.

I was originally on the Kirby should be the heir apparent train, but when I started meeting some former players and people who knew him I was on the “ Stay the Hell away from Alabama you arrogant phoney ” fan club.

It is so fitting that Harbaugh and Kirby have tasted so much karma these past 3 years.

What's going to be even funnier is next season will probably be the last season that Jawja has such an easy road in the East to Atlanta. I give Mullen at Fla two more off seasons (this one and next) and Kirby will have his hands full with Mullen and the Gators. I truly believe Kirby's best shot at getting Jawja a title was the last two years.

well, to be fair, atlanta is pretty great for bama. we have won quite a few championships and big games there. georgia teams (pro and college) seem to have a hard time doing that.

To be fair, UGA will probably have the best overall team coming into the season next year in the SEC. But Alabama is still going to be loaded on offense. Something about losing to a team two years in a row in heartbreaks brings in the “ Can we beat these guys?” Attitude. I don’t know if UGA will get past Alabama on a mental and spiritual level, and that fake punt might be the evidence for it.

Kirby seems to panic and make panic like decisions in big games. He made several panic moves in the regular season game against LSU when they got blown out in BR. This weekend, as the game's pressure begins to hit fever pitch, he goes spastic with his fake punt at midfield on 4th & 11. He fits right in at UGA.

Someone posted his and Richts first year records and they are identical but Kirby did it with far superior recruits.

I think Kirby is Richt 2.0, but with more epic fails.

It's hard to argue that point. I'm keeping my eye on Florida and their progression to see if Mullen puts Kirby on the same trajectory path as Richt. Always a bridesmaid but never a bride.

I think some of y'all while well-intentioned find things that aren't there.

Kirby was doing what a coach loyal to his players does - making the only case he possibly could for inclusion in the playoffs.
There was nothing more to it than that.

Kirby has done an excellent job at Ga. They are way above Richt teams. And Buzzard is right; they wouldn't be built the way they are if not for Kirby's time under Saban. And he has also given Coach Saban extra fire, so to speak, a challenge that I think helps extends his coaching at Bama. But Kirby can't shake the Ga dna, thankfully, so he has to eat sour grapes, and spew what Ga does after every loss they have in a big game. They will never change.

i fully expected him to make a case for their inclusion, hell saban and our players were making that case. i think it was his whiny use of "go ask that coach" that was over the top.

personally, i think he made an ass out of himself. but i am a little bit biased.

His history and his body language suggests otherwise though. He looked like someone just stole his lolly pop.

It’s more of the bull crap that he has done when he was leaving, while he was here, and how he says things. I expected him to make a case but how he made it was way over the top.
