What a really great video! Npw in addition to these big plays, I hope that Milroe is able to lead us on some sustained, time consuming drives.

Combine this with a couple of forced Georgia turnovers and we win.

ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hard to summarize because he got pretty technical with his evaluation. This offense is more complicated than the past and, I think, the defense is a little simpler. If you had a spare hundy in the wallet, would you put in on milroe to win the Heisman? The boys in the desert say 7 to 1.

I for one would definitely not, but I hope that he does win it.

didn't you hear? after one game against UTSA, Arch Manning is in the Heiman conversation.

in all seriousness, Milroe is one of 5 QBs in NCAA history to have three consecutive games where he has 2 TDs passing and 2 TDs rushing. Tebow and Manzel were the other two in the exclusive club who went on to win the Heisman.

Yeah, but Milroe can't beat Alabama.

Believe it or not, Vegas has Manning at only a 6 to 1 shot to win after just 1 half of football. Sort of tells you something about Heisman voters

honestly - the heisman is kinda a joke now. it's really a popularity contest driven by who has the play with the most 'splash', a.k.a. their 'heisman moment'. I'm happy for a bama guy to win and all cause it's good PR for the program, but it's not really a consistent indicator of the 'best player' any more.

Good breakdown of Bama's explosive plays.

The schemes remind me a bit of coach Lane kiffin to be honest. Once the receivers kits a little better and actually running routes and nuances, and Jalen trust them more to pass before they're actually open. Remember the top 2 receivers theoretically are new to this team and Ryan is young.... Trusting him to be where he needs to be on a route over the middle could lead to an interception. Once I trust is there it could get pretty scary.

I think that Sheridan is also finding his footing and at the end of the day I expect the running backs to be heavily featured once they stop trying to develop the passing game before we get into the heart of the schedule (as they should have been doing IMO).

IF I had the choice of a decent armed quarterback that could get it done throwing short and intermediate routes and occasionally get down 30 yards versus a ferocious run attack that includes a QB and a accurate down field game.... It just marries so well. The sustained drives will be there when they finally commit to just running the ball and focusing on their strength. I'll always trust Jalen to get the ball down the field when defenses stack the box when needed.
