Kudos to Julio Jones also. Julio is a monster of a receiver he is getting better on routs and getting open week in and week out. Last heard that Berry was going to welcome him in to the SEC but looks to me that he made some real good catches.. ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!!

He's doing much better against man coverage. That was his weakness in the beginning but it looks like he's making strides there. He will be a MONSTER for us before he goes to the NFL.

Julio Jones is doing great this year, and it's scary to think, he will only get better has he matures.....
Should be fun watching him @ Bama, and then hopefully the NFL one day....:)

Didn't a couple of VOL posters tell us that Berry was going to shut Jones down?

Congrats, Julio - great game!!!
vol posters, don't get me started. heres a thread on Volnation,

There is a thread over on Tidefans.com that is trashing Volnation.

Apparently we are a "dirty" program and we have always been "dirty". Our entire fanbase is "scum" according to them.

Grrrr, it's a delusion convention.
where is this thread on Tidefans?

I just hope he doesn't become one too soon. I hope we get 3 out of him.
Well unless he redshirts at some point (which has about a 0% chance of happening) he'll have to stay until the end of his junior year. I'd love to see him stay all four years but with his talent the chances of that happening are probably pretty slim. He's already a beast and he's only going to get better and better, I can't even imagine what he's going to be like as a junior! :eek2:

Yep, he is some kinda athlete. Wow.

Like some posters on here have said, I also believe the best of Julio's frosh year is yet to come.

He is the ultimate yards after catch receiver and that means you never know what will happen once he's got the ball. A simple crossing pattern can become a 75 yd. TD after he stiff-arms the safety and rips through the cornerbacks arm tackle.

He has upper-tier speed, too, but it is his jumping ability that separates him on the deep ball. He can simply go up and get it at a point the DB can't.

My dream scenario (hey, I'm a fan, I can dream) would be:

Against Aubarn - 11 receptions, 195 yds, 3 touchdowns... sweet.

congrats J.J. I had the plesaure of seeing him play here at Foley the past few years and we all could tell he was special early on. I've told this story before but it bears repeating. This past year during his recruiting PhatPhil called Foley H.S. and left a message asking that, and this is the way he pronounced it,jewlio to make an appointment. Julio never returned his call!

If Julio keeps his head on straight (no reason to believe he won't) he'll be MONSTER at Bama. The other receivers we are recruiting will make him even better. Multiple big-time target will stop defenses from loading up on him.

From what i have heard, Julio is very modest. As good as he is, he only wants to get better. I believe the entire team has taken this mindset.
