He played okay.
Flowers must be the stupidest NFL player since Leon Lett.
  • Long 39-yard catch to the 11 for a first down. Taunts the defense. 15 yard penalty.
  • Catches what might have been a TD, but fumbles into the end zone.
  • Has a temper tantrum on the sidelines and cuts his finger.

Great athlete's body attached to a really bad head.

Yeah, he did have a bad five minutes there didn’t he? Just not playing very smart.

Lamar Jackson greatly benefits from a system that is designed specifically for him. If you have a defense that can interrupt it then he really has no plan B. It’s why he sucks against the Steelers, Bills, Bengals, and Chiefs.

I think this was Lamar’s last great shot at a SB.

Well Flowers wasn’t the one who threw the ball into triple coverage in the red zone.

If we are talking about someone being a Big Baby then Lamar is one of the biggest. He throws his helmet every time something goes wrong.

Yes it’s easy to blame Flowers but the difference in the game was Spagnola totally owning real estate in Lamar’s head. Even had Flowers tied it in the end it’s highly doubtful they win with how long the Ravens offense kept their own defense on the field.

That never happens without the Flowers debacle. It changed everything that came afterwards

maybe maybe not. But do you really have faith that the Ravens defense preventing a game winning drive starting the last drive of the game near 70 plays? The game was very much controlled by KC and Mahomes-Kelce were unstoppable when they really needed to be.

Yes the Flowers fumble and taunting penalty were big but one can also argue that Trey flowers holding twice at the end of the half, and Reid calling a predictable 4th down play prevented the Ravens being down by 21 points at the end of the half.

My point is that Lamar is still Lamar. He had a bad game and most are going to act like it never happened because this or that. The truth is that they were lucky to be in that game with 3 turnovers and never managed to take advantage of it.

Just like most QBs, when he is bad, he is terrible. But in this game he was not terrible. He threw one bad pass.

I missed this game entirely. My middle schoolers basketball team was pulling an upset in their postseason tournament. Beat the #2 seed.

Was hoping the Ravens would win simply to keep the Super Bowl from being the Taylor swift show.

Go lions....I'm 3 beers in now.....go Lions. Even though I really like the 49ers colors and uniforms....Go Lions.

It was far more than one bad pass. He was missing wide open underneath stuff all day. It wasn’t until Flowers caught that ball that he started getting above 50% on completions. That was in the 4th.

At best he had an average day, but even then that isn’t enough in these types of games.

I guess that we disagree. No problem here. I am not a fan. I just did not think that he played poorly or was the reason that they lost.

The reason they lost was the Chiefs were better. Yes they had opportunities to win but there were also opportunities for the game to be totally out of reach before halftime. The Ravens are fortunate that they weren’t down 28-7 at halftime.

But it’s whatever. I thought the best AFC team lost last week. Mahomes and the Chiefs are just the new Brady and Pats in which they force you to play perfect to beat them in January. The Ravens just didn’t.

Well, looking at the stats for Lamar....from someone that didn't see the game....he was 20 of 37. Mahomes was 30 of 39 I think.

20 of 37 ain't great for someone most think wins the MVP.

I never thought he deserved the MVP. I was talking about this game.
He still missed almost half his passes. They were down 17-7 at half and all they could get in the entire 2nd half was a FG. Great D and Lamar unable to overcome it.
