He is going to regret not hanging it up down the road. That many bad concussions puts him at high risk for traumatic encephalopathy.

He should go into coaching... Seems positive and high energy.

I love Tua, but he couldn't hold a candle to Marino. Miami would love to have Dan back in a heartbeat.
I saw the post game interview from Tua discussing the Ravens loss, he said the visiting fans affected his performance! I have heard some outrageous claims for defeats, but this one really takes the cake. Tua should really ask himself what's really going on his lackluster and inconsistent performance from one week to the next. on a sidenote, he should be more concerned about his play than getting a different hairdo and more tattoos each week.

Tuas two ankle surgeries and then the serious hip operation have rendered him immobile….not good for a short guy with bad OL. Videos of him at bama v now….it's a different guy. Hrs also had numerous major concussions which, in my mind are an issue. He throws interceptions that don’t align with a guy who led the NFL in passer rating with a minuscule int pct and who is known for precision accuracy.

I understand the money is too good to turn down…but I wish he’d retire. It’s painful watching him.

He was one of the most accurate college passers I've seen. The long pass to Waddle at Tennessee amazes me every time. No doubt he was helped by a squad of first round picks but the guy was on the money. He clearly isn't the same now and would likely benefit from a new start but his albatross of a contract makes that difficult. But the thought remains in my mind that no one in Tuscaloosa slung it better than him.

The Dolphins are a mess. Jaelan Phillips was just traded to the Eagles this week. When asked about leaving Miami for Philadelphia, his responded “Literally the greatest thing that’s happened in my whole life”

Things must be really bad in the fin's locker room if someone feels moving from south FL to Philly is the best thing to happen to them.

So IMHO, Tua's problems may have a lot to do with the environment he finds himself in right now.

His release was faster than the eye could see too... Seamless.

When he entered the NFL, he was already broken. It cannot be overstated how the hip injury affected his throw - the velocity, the distance, etc. He needed just the right situation in order to succeed long term, and the Dolphins were not it. The NFL chewed up what was left of him, and will spit him out soon.

Waddle is their best weapon and its not even close. When they had Tyreek, they had a 2 headed monster and the defense had to pick their poison, but with only Waddle, it's much easier to defend the Dolphins offense.

For every great QB there are two more that could have been just as good if they had landed in a spot surrounded by solid talent. So much of NFL career is about landing spot. I do believe his hip injury effects him to this day but at times his Dolphins offense was lethal, but at this point he lacks talent around him.

Yeah they had a great set up for about 5 minutes. But that head coach should not be a head coach. Maybe an OC. But he's ran that team into the ground.

My hope is that Tua has not set himself up for long term cognitive damage that hits him in his late 30s.
