If it really is just a stupid waste of time, then just vote yes. It takes no more time to vote yes than it does to vote no. Rubio just wants to be homophobic without being called out on it.
Voting in favor could hurt him in a future presidential primary.

It didn't hurt Trump, and he's totally pro-gay. Come to think of it, there have been quite a few gay voters flip since 2016. Republicans should acknowledge this more and let go of this resistance they are clinging to.
Trump's presidency certainly wasn't pro-gay.

That's a weird take.

Yep, Google is great, innit? I perused several articles that state both cases which approximates to nothing. My gay friends are seemingly split on the Trump issue and most of them are my age. This means they remember the Reagan years very well. Anybody who has ever read Randy Shilt's book, "And The Band Played On" knows that it was worse than advertised for gays in America back then. But I digress, the perspectives I hear are quite interesting. Probably the most cringiest change I've had to make as far as my own perspective on the issue has to be the awful assumption I made that gays were more likely to engage in identity politics than a straight person. I was corrected sternly and I took my rebuke and learned from it. Gay conservatives fascinate me if for no other reason than the fact that libertarians are more accepting.

Trump is only pro-Trump. He only likes people/things that will benefit himself.

Did you notice that he didn't say just say that he's against same-sex marriage? He wants to have it both ways. He wants to avoid voting for same-sex marriage without saying he's against same-sex marriage. Also, 71% of the country and 55% of Republicans now favor same-sex marriage, and those numbers are risking quickly. If he's thinking about a future presidential primary, he's betting on the wrong horse.

Where ever there's BBQ, Bourbon & Football
The couple also said they have received several offers from other local Christian schools for Zoey to start her kindergarten year.
Glad to read this

Bible Baptist Academy published a statement on their dismissal of the Parkers, writing, in part, that the school is “committed to instructing and living in accordance with the teachings of Scripture.
Curious what's going to happen when the sins of other children's parents are found out? Are they going to be dismissed as well?
