Great Gravies

In my opinion, one difference between a good cook and a mediocre one is the ability of the good cook to make good gravy. By mastering that skill, any cook -- good, bad or indifferent -- will improve mealtime -- and temperaments -- immeasurably.
Link above includes some delicious southern gravy recipes, i.e, Sawmill Gravy, Tomato Gravy, Fried Chicken gravy and more....

And your recipe is?????
I don't know what my dad does but I can tell you it's not a pretty recipe!

All we use is deer or beef cube steak, pan cook it with salt, pepper, and other spices(whatever you like). Keep all juices in the pan and add one or two cans(depending on the amount of meat and how much you like gravy) of Cream of Mushroom soup(any brand) and a little bit of water to break down the concentration. You can serve with bread/toast or noodles!

Egg Gravy

My Mama taught me how to make Egg Gravy, in fact I had some for dinner, excuse me, supper monday night, along with some "inported" Connecha Sausage. Back durring the depression Egg Gravy was a way to feed large families with just a couple of eggs. No I did not grow up in the depression but 5 of my brothers and sisters did and my Mama kept em fat and they still fat.
