I posted last week how worried I was about the Dawg reaction if they won. Thank goodness that is not a problem! RTR

However, the pups sure are whiney. They insist the refs cost them the game. Even when I admit they missed the facemask, they can't let it go. The list of "missed calls" is very long.

Now I know we all had a thing or two to say about the pick play against Clemson last year, but THAT was the winning play.

Lord, help me be patience with these suffering pups.

I didn't wear any Bama gear to work today, not even my hounds tooth scarf. All the teachers would have gotten their feathers ruffled thinking I was boasting. Our PE teacher wore a Bama jersey so I lived thru him!

I moved away from Atlanta in 2013, but I would move back for a week to rub it in. My friends there are quiet today. Although they were text heavy during the first half of the game.

I live in LSU country and this morning you would have thought LSU lost in the game last night. The Bama hate is hardcore 'round these parts. Which makes every win and every championship that much sweeter.

Listening to Atlanta sports talk radio today, the reaction is about 50% Alabama and Saban did what they had to do to win and the other 50% blames the refs for the loss. About 25% of my firm are Georgia grads and about half came in today. I've been keeping a relatively low profile because I really don't want to engage in a discussion of the game with them, at least not yet. Most of those Georgia fans are also Falcons fans and the similarities of this loss with the Super Bowl loss are a little too much to handle.

Thank god Bama pulled that out! But yes the list of missed calls is extensive. Did you know Bama paid the refs off at half time?

I just said because you get those calls doesn't mean you win. You never know what happens on the next play. You get the block punt, next play your QB could throw a Pick-6! You never know. I agree there were some bad calls or missed calls on both sides. But let it go.

I'm having some who talked trash to me trying to convince me they didn't even watch the game. LOL! And the local sports radio show this morning?! LOL! I can't even begin to the describe number of black helicopters they had convinced themselves were circling the stadium last night.

It seems the UGA fans I work with were much more cordial. The auburn ones were complaining Alabama shouldn't have been there, the refs were biased, blah blah blah moo.

i have run into several bama fans, a bunch of folks that are happy to see georgia lose and sad georgia fans be sad, and a tech fan that told me he ran around the room screaming when we scored in o.t.
