Jericho Cotchery prepped at Phillips HS and Phillip Rivers at Athens. Both made big plays last night on ESPN. NC State is on a roll at 9-0(3-0)Rivers is in the mix for the Heisman, and their finish could determine his Heisman fate. I was lucky enough to see both of these young men play basketball in HS. Cotchery was part of a good team at Phillips and played some memorable games versus John Carroll. Rivers' Athens team actually knocked Carroll out of first round of the playoffs. He was a 3 point machine. Way to go guys!
