It's good to see some "old timers" back. I remember back before Tidefans when some of the folks, including Brett, were posting on the old
"Bama Team club" on AOL where I was a moderator. LadyinRed was one of my assistant moderators before she put together her great site.
This is a fantastic site with very knowledgeable fans.

The board appearently reset my post count because when I started posting again a couple of months ago I had zero posts. My username and password still worked, but my post count was gone.

When Brett upgraded to this new server he forgot to save the post counts. Everyone lost their post count some of us thousands. Start over, that's the fun part.

I have been around reading and/or posting sparingly since 2000. It is great to hear from so many of the original characters that made this board so great.

I'm a long-timer also, but more of a lurker than a poster. I remember all those names you mentioned. I wondered what happened to a lot of them too. It's good to read this. Does anyone else remember the bus trip that lnadell arranged for the Tide Fans to go to the Georgia Dome for the 1999 SEC championship game besides me? We met up at Smith's Olde Bar and took a charter bus (complete with keg!!) to the game and then came back to Smith's for a fantastic postgame celebration!! What a night!!!! I'm hoping we can do that again VERY SOON!!!! What a fantastic way to get to the game without any hassle at all!!!

there were actually two crashes.... one in 1997 (I think) and then one in 1999.
