Holtz is comic relief on that show. He's good at his job. I enjoy the show... but I wouldn't want to sit close to him.

I have never been able to figure out why Holtz appears to be admired by so many people. Programs received sanctions for the time period when he coached, he spits every word he sputters, and he shows bias towards and against teams. I do like him against Mark May as May generally shows him up.

Lou Holtz and Lee Corso are both characters.I for one will miss them when they are gone!!Sure they get under your skin every now and then,but they are entertaining!

I like Corso, and enjoy his antics, but Lou Holtz is just irritating to me.
