Milroe will never be what Maye was on day one. I have no idea about Simpson, but Maye's HS tape was better, and he couldn't beat out Milroe.

Next year is a 3 loss minimum season for Alabama if either of those guys starts, IMO.

Those teams won't ever make their conference championship game. I'd argue instead that the ACC is not a real P5 conference.

I did say NC was a P5 in theory.

It won't effect future signees because Maye won't be here long enough (if he comes)

IIRC, Simpson's father is a coach which might help in regards to him staying the course. But, you never know. RTR
