He is also a classy individual who truly cares about the well being of his players. I hate the fact that someone started a petty little thread like this. However, since the thread has been started, I would have to agree that it does look like there were some cosmetics involved.

why I dyed/highlighted my hair!!!

I get that occasionally because I only have a sprinkling of white hair, and I'll be 68 in another couple of months. Indian blood - hair doesn't fall out or turn white prematurely. However, it does have its drawbacks - hypertension, cirrhosis, etc.

As someone else pointed out, Richt beats us, so we crack on him for his tan.

Hey, whatever gets some of you guys through the night. I say Richt is a class act. He's actually probably the only other coach in the SEC besides CNS of course that I actually like.

I agree that Coach Richt is a good coach and is somewhat classy. However, I think he owes Georgia fans an apology for needing overtime to beat an Alabama team that has been racked by coaching turmoil and probation for most of the last decade. BY ONLY 3 POINTS!!!
BY contrast, he has had top 5 recruiting classes for about 6 years.

I'll tell you the secret. He has to beat Florida. Ever since SOS made it cool for UF to beat UGA its been like a snowball down a mountain. Thus far, Richt has been caught in the avalanche.

No offense, but he's won two SEC championships in the last five years. I wish we could say that.

I guess the knock on Richt is he has not gotten Georgia in a position to play for a national championship.

I agree he's recruited a lot of talent.

Well when you have so little you make sure the few hairs you've got are cut correctly. I feel for CNS when it rains during a game. You can't cover that bald spot when your hair is wet. The blowout poof doesn't quite work. =)

Anyone seen the nice little Christian oriented football movie, that Richt is in, making the rounds, lately? It's called something like "Facing Giants" or similar.

We can make fun of his tan, or his hair, or his record, or his arrogance, all we want, but one thing we can't touch is his incredible record in away games. :wink:
