The good thing is we will be battle tested AND battle ready come tourney time. Bad thing is we have to play the SEC grind ... all the top teams could have at least 2 SEC losses before the regular season is up.

That's some good stuff from Bilas there! It was obvious when watching the game that when MoDi was in the game we were more efficient, but Bilas' +/—stats illustrate this well.
BTW, I don't really pay much attention to the rankings. I didn't even know Bama was #4 until I saw it in the TV coverage.
The only ranking that will really matter is what seed you are in March.
Bracketology has us at 2 for awhile now. We have a good shot at a 1 seed and overall 1 seed.
I really enjoyed watching this game. Everyone contributed to the win…it was a team win.
I agree; great game to watch. I kept waiting for that Kentucky run inspired by the Big Blue crowd but our guys would not fold under the pressure from a very talented team.
Coach definitely got their attention this week.
The Barn game at home should be epic.

In retrospect, they didn't. I'm like anybody else - in the heat of the game, I see the ones they missed for us and shrug when they miss for the other team. The one thing I still have a gripe about, and which was never called, was grabbing the ball after they scored, in order to slow us down. It was an obvious tactic and intentional...
Not abnormal on the road. UGA for example was constantly grabbing hold under their basket and it was going uncalled. That’s the least of my objections about Pat Adam’s officiating yesterday though.
That should have been delay of game right? The Holloway foul and mo over the back are two that stood out to me. Neither one had any contact. I also noticed in the first half UK really pushed the boundaries on a moving screen violation.
Overall not a horrible officiated game but I often feel like refs try to keep the foul count close. Which can lead to ticky tacky calls on one side vs hard fouls on the other side. The Holloway and MO calls seemed liked a way catch UK back up and get them in the bonus. It was in a stretch of 6 fouls in 3 mins.

Seems CNO's has Kentucky's number and its been fun too witness after watching Kentucky pretty much dominate Bama since ive been alive.
