My name is Kyle, and I'm a Bama Fan

The rest of the AA (Alabama Audience) group: "Hi Kyle"

Talisi is the Creek indian spelling for Tallassee, AL. The Hotel Talisi still uses the spelling. Our mascot for our schools in Tallassee is the tiger, so my saying has always been, 'I'm a Talisi Tiger on Friday nights and a Talisi Tider come Saturday"

Devil Dog is the name given to the USMC by the German army during WWI. It was a tribute the the way the Marines fought;like hounds from hell.

I am a retired Marine and always thought "devil dog" was a good way to refer to those who serve(d) in the greatest fighting force the world has ever known. Much better than "jarhead" don't you think?

I was a pitcher when I was in high school. I was the #8, and so one day when I was warming up for one of my games my coach turns to me and says..."Do you know that the #8 looks like a snowman without a head?" The rest of my high school career they called me thesnowman. So, since I was the #8 and they called me the snowman you can do the math. RTR!!

Legion Field.....

It's my tribute to the "old grey lady on graymont". I am a huge alabama fan. My first memories are going to the Penn State games in the mid 80's at ......Legion Field. Bryant-Denny is nice, but it will never be held in the same regard as the old grey lady. I know a lot of people didn't like her. I could never understand that. They didn't condemn Fenway in Boston. The cubs still play in Wrigley. I would trade anything to have the Vols in Birmingham on the 22nd. I can't go on any longer, I'm starting to tear up....... ;)

In 1999 I was at a bar named the Grog house in Gainesville Flawrita with a few of my friends who went to UF. They felt the need to tell me that they were gonna beat the poo out of ALABAMA and it should be called BAMMAR. Well 40 points later they found a new nickname for me. This nickname was again used that year at the SEC championship in Atlanta. Well, 34 points later I was knighted with the name. It again surfaced this year and Well, 31 points later they FEAR ME!
Gator Eliminator!

Whirleybird

My surname is Worley. Growing up in North Alabama I got the nickname "Whirleybird". I spent many happy fall afternoons at Legion Field watching Bryant ply his trade. Although I went to college in the midwest, I have always enjoyed the Tide.

I now live in Georgia and it has been 20 years since I attended a game. You can bet I won't miss a game on the telly.

Bama in VA

I grew up in Cullman and am a lifelong Alabama fan. I have lived in Northern Virginia for over 20 years. I was surprised that this name wasn't taken, because there is a pretty large group of Alabama fans in the area.

twelve: the best number there is when it comes to Alabama Football.

The University of Alabama - home to 12 National Championships.
The number of Alabama greats Namath, Stabler, Croyle...
