When I bought my first computer in 98, I had to come up with a username for the local dial up business and since I'm sitting in my Bama room, I decided to be "Bama on the net". Have used Bamanet ever since. Don't post as much as I use to, although, I do read a lot. That granddaughter keeps me hopping, but I love it.

Live in Alabama for 5 years then after I had kids, I moved back closer to home. Grew up in Glasgow.

Ivory Tusk was one of my favorite "watering holes" when I was at UofA. Remember a lot of great nights in the Tusk and a lot that are kinda foggy.

Heck I can remember when the Tusk used to have a large courtyard in the back before they made it the "band room".

Even remember seeing Dave Matthews Band at the Tusk.

Sad to see it go...so I'll try to carry on it's memory

easy if you know a defensive line numbering position. played left tackle and rush end in high school. the seven technique lines up on the outside eye of the offensive tackle and just tries to kill whoever is in the backfield with the ball in his hands. was a better tackle but monsterOT just did not sound as good.
