I made this dish starting way back in college and still make it every now and then. Supper simple. I'm sure it has been made before and has a more official name. But, since I created this without seeing anything from a predecessor, I have just always called it "melty goodness."

1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. spicy ground sausage
1/2 lb. Velveeta
1 packet of onion soup mix
1 loaf of French or Cuban bread

Brown the beef and sausage
Add the cheese and the soup mix
Lower the heat until the cheese melts

Slice the bread and lightly toast it

Add meat/cheese concoction to the bread and enjoy!

Very tasty but heavy, so eat in moderation. :)
