He's probably going to play a full half no matter what, but I don't want to see him run. I'd like to see RPOs where the RBs actually get the carries, and I'd like to see efficiency in the passing game. I would love for Simpson to get some first team reps for no other reason than you just never know when he will be needed.

By points. When we get a 30 to 35 point lead, then put Ty in. I'd like to see Ty go in early 3rd quarter. CKD should play Ty as much as possible in the last 3 games.

I chose 1st half but I considered choosing play the whole game just because it would be fun reading some comments about Ty’s playing time and letting him sling it all over the place.

Really though, it would be nice if we could get Milroe out of the game quick. The memory of Tua is still there and it is up to the team to build that strong lead so we can have the opportunity to have Milroe rest up some.

Here's the dilemma. Milroe needs to get enough playing time to keep his record high in terms of national statistics/Heisman, etc. It would not be fair to him to bench him most of the game.

This for me ^^^^

We're on a good run and setting up for a good finish and we don't need to get Milroe hurt in a game against Mercer. If we get a 28+ point lead at any point, start filtering in Ty and others and filter out as many starters as we can without relinquishing the lead.

Milroe is not winning the Heisman this late in the season. Cam Ward and the RB from Boise St have better cases and have been more consistent.

You are correct that Milroe needs the reps and that's why he plays at least the full first half, but most likely to open Q3, as well. DeBoer might want him to stand in the pocket and continue to improve on some of his reads.

Assuming we show up and take care of business like we should, I would say no more than the first half. As was mentioned, the LSU game was pretty physical, and our frontline guys could probably use a little rest.
