I'd like for Milroe to play just the first half and only work on his throws. He doesn't need to run at all unless he's about to get sacked. Let the RB's get their work in. I'd like to see Simpson play the entire 2nd half with the full playbook. Maybe let Lonergan play some of the 4th quarter.

It seems each game we have injuries to starters. We need everyone healthy for OU and Auburn and beyond.

Here's the dilemma. Milroe needs to get enough playing time to keep his record high in terms of national statistics/Heisman, etc. It would not be fair to him to bench him most of the game.
Yeah, Tua never won the Heisman. They had him out before halftime. Mac Jones might have won it, if not for the Slim Reaper.

Milroe gets no more than one half. If he runs other than to avoid getting hit chew his but out . Let him work on his short passing game like the option routes he used against LSWho to the RB’s. There is improvement to be made in the pass game. Let the RB’s run the ball. Finally make sure Ty gets 15 pass attempts.

Football is a team sport. Ty needs the reps in case he is needed. You do what is best for the team not one person chasing a Heisman.

I don't want to see another one of those "play to the level of competition" games, where the first team has to stay in most of the game. Hope we are ready to take care of business.
If the light has really come on for Bama, we'll be able to tell in the first quarter. If they're playing to the level of the competition, a lot of the hope that's built over the last few weeks will be diminished.

I'm expecting them to come out and execute at a high level...

Run the entire offense, which includes Milroe runs. Let the 1st string play until the game is well in hand - at least the entire first half. Have to keep this team clicking. No more lulls in confidence.
Make him pass short over the middle and on time. Toss a few wrinkles in the run game, and hit maybe two deep shots to remind everyone that club is still in the bag too.

Then let him Facebook Live about Lank for all I care.

Football is a game where motivation and effort are extreme indicators of success. The message the staff needs to send is we are on a mission and that mission is against a nameless and faceless opponent. CKW blitzing 7 with 22 seconds to go is a good indicator that we aren't in the mindset of playing it safe. CKW sending the 1's back on the field to get a goal line stand against Mizzou to ensure a shut out is a good indicator that we aren't playing it safe. Football is a game where injuries are inevitable. More times than not when you play to not get injured, that is when you get injured. I fully expect the players and coaches to show up to this game like any other game. Everyone who is capable of playing will play. Everyone is expected to dominate their man, assignment, and execute. If and when the dogs need to be called off, they will. Until that time comes we can't afford to take a step back!

This...............treat Mercer like they are UGA and stomp them. Most of the teams Mercer has played arent remotely good, but treat them like world beaters all the same
