Regardless of the tenor of your previous posts, the intent of your initial post is patently clear to anyone with half a brain. You're simply trying to do a little damage control to deflect attention away from the moronic ravings of your new kiddie HC. It won't work and it's pretty insulting to our intelligence for you to even think it would.
T-Mack makes a good point. Perhaps you should read more threads and see how much entertainment we have gotten from Meyer. We aren't solely focused on Kiffin, in fact Kiffin is one of our least worries at this point. We really don't expect any greatness from him this season and he is giving us a lot to laugh at.

LOL!

"So Tebow walked up to little Billy and a glow enveloped him. He said to the part that should not be there, 'Leave in haste and let not the little one suffer.' There was a flash of light and the scent of myrrh in flame and it was no more."

"Tebow said to Billy, 'Ride thou the Big Wheel under the tree.' Billy rode it and there was no pain."

Urban Meyer is definitely not Mr. Honesty, but he is also not running around blatantly calling out other SEC coaches in public and running his mouth like an idiot. From what I can tell, Urban Meyer has mostly kept his mouth shut and let his team do the talking by their play on the field. Kiffinhawk would be well advised to do the same.
You beat me to it. I was going to say something like that. Meyer has done nothing that I can remember to offend me. Can't say the same for Boy Wonder.

You guys act as if I totally support everything CLK has said. I don't. He shouldn't have called out Meyer....on 2 occasions, in is initial press conference and this past week. The original one was overlooked, when he talked about beating Florida and singing Rocky Top all night long. This second time, he should have kept his mouth shut. He also did some bragging about the coaches he had got. He should have kept his mouth shut there too.

I am in no way trying to deflect things he has said and done. I am no way trying to say he is a proven coach. He says what he says, and of course it gets out and becomes public. It is nice to see some fire from the head coach...but the things he has been firing...should not be fired. As I would argue Fulmer's record speaks for itself (152-52)....Kiffin's does as well (5-15). Kiffin's was in the NFL where Spurrier, Saban, and Carroll were all not very good. Will he be a better in college like these 3? We have no idea. We will soon find out.

I have enjoyed being a part of these boards, you guys have made this post tough on me :)

I love getting opinions from fans of another team.

What has Kiffin said about Bama that was offensive? I know you guys did not like the way he got Lance Thompson. I have not seen anything where he called out Saban....I may have missed it.

We are not laughing at you but at Kiffin. Think of all we went through on Tennessee boards and you might understand why you are getting some of the replies. They are not aimed at you but at the thread.

The coaching world is different now. Constantly changing. Good coaches will be fired if the BOTs and boosters don't get what they want, e.g. Slocum, Cutcliffe (still scrathing my head over that one), or even Tuberville.
Empty cupboard, poor recruiting, lackadaisical response to a 4-7 season, too much loyalty toward a staff that needed changes.

Cutcliffe was asked to submit a plan for change in the program, and he chose to take his money and leave.

He thought he could ride on Eli Manning's coattails forever.

Remember, he had 3-4 years to recruit an SEC-caliber QB to replace Eli, and all he could come up with was a WR playing out of position (Michael Spurlock).....who he tried to force into an offense designed around a drop-back passer (Eli).

Orgeron had his own problems but it can never be said that he didn't leave a full cupboard. Cutcliffe left him with zilch as far as talent. Which was why he had to go the juco ranks to find a QB.

Did aTm really get what they wanted when they fired RC Slocum? ;)

Meyer is a "snake in the grass" IMHO but you're right, at least he isn't stupid enough to go around calling other coaches and programs out in public like Kiffykins. That's just moronic, especially coming from a guy who has proven exactly squat in this league, or any other league as a HC. :rolleye2:

We poke a lot of fun at St Urban and his apostle Tim Tebow, we poked a lot of fun at Wingnut "Ears" Tubbersnout and Houston Nuts. Leslie Miles gets his share of heat from our fans but Fullmer garnered genuine hate from our fan base. Fullmer, Tom Cullpepper, a couple of UT board of trustee members and some high level UT boosters almost destroyed Alabama football. We will be a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooog time forgetting that. That fat, lying piece of garbage could cure cancer, fix the American economy and end all wars and I would still despise him and all those who backed him. End of rant. I don't expect Lane Kiffin to be more than another Bill Battle with attitude at Tennessee but VolFan you are entertaining. ;)
Ditto. :pDT_tit:
