You really think the Canes can hold the Vick kid down?
Alright! sounds good to me- Was watching a little of the West virginia game on TV-how is it possible that we could go to the sugar bowl and end up with that team--we'll win by 30 if we do

It's a tough call because neither team has really played anybody.

Miami has played FSU (and lost), but that was the first game of the season and it's hard to get any gauge from it.

VT has played West Virginia on the road and Maryland at home.

Who knows?

This game could be a sucker bet if there's a good spread on it...

i dont see either team scoring over 20. both teams have great defences, but i think miami has somethimg to prove. i say 14-17 miami. which is good news for us. rtr

I think the 'Canes will pull this one out. They are an ok team and you know their players will be up for this game. I think they have the speed on D to contain Vick. Vick is good but he is not his older brother yet....I think this will be his 9th start. So Miami might just rattle him if they get to him early. I think miami will win by a touchdown or so.

I think that VA tech's defensive speed will cause a turnover early and rattle the young Miami QB. If that happens, something in the gut tells me this could get ugly....I think VA Tech wins by 17

I think Vick will throw a couple of INT's but I don't think Miami's offense is good enough to march consistently on the VaTech defense. And I think the VaTech offense is good enough to take advantage of 1 or 2 Miami turnovers. It will be a close-to-the-vest old time slobberknocker, but in the end I think the Hokies win 17-13.

Watch out for the VaTech tight end. He may prove to be the difference.

I think Vick will struggle. He did against Maryland, and if he has a repeat of that performance Miami will be able to pick him apart.

Miami 24, VT 23

Oh yeah, just thought i'd let you guys in on something I heard on ESPN. Miami is wearing these jerseys this weekend against Virginia Tech. If VT wears the same ones they wore last Thursday, we'll be in for a nightmare. How ugly can jerseys get these days? I'm glad Alabama has stayed with their traditional look.

BTW, we haven't seen the worst of it yet. Look at what Oregon is slated to wear later this year! Click here

As much as I hate to say it, you are right. Va Tech is just to tough at home IMHO.
