Miami is about to win it if they can convert this 3rd and 6. They lead 21-20 with less than 3 minutes.

OU is a solid team. They need Bradford back for any hope though.OU is still in the hunt, IMO, though it's a long shot. There is precedent now for a 2-loss team winning the BCS.
I really feel bad for our OU friends because injuries have ruined their season. On that note, this OU loss can serve to really help teams like Cincy, Boise St., or even Va Tech/Miami to get into the MNC.
Stay with me here...OU will probably have Bradford back by the Texas game. IF OU (no conference losses) beats Texas and makes it into the Big XII title game, then I don't think a 1 loss Texas team or a 2 loss OU team will get into the big game, which opens the spot up for for the aforementioned teams.
Point: The outcome of this game could play a big part in determining the MNC.
Stick a fork in Oklahoma, they're done.Oklahoma's national title hopes are very dim now. However, they have no losses in the Big 12 so they could possibly get back in it.
On the national scene, yes - but they have as good a shot as anyone else in the Big 12 of making it into a BCS Bowl (assuming they get Bradford back against Texas)...Stick a fork in Oklahoma, they're done.
Yeah, but that's my hypothetical point...UF won the SEC title game, so they got in over Utah. But, if OU beats Texas and goes undefeated in conference play, then Texas won't get to play in the Big XII title game, which will hold them out of the MNC and allow a lesser team (Cincy, Boise St., Notre Dame, USC, ACC Champ) to get in. But, my hypothesis won't come true if OU doesn't win the Red River game. Hopefully, that makes better sense. You may be right, but I think Boise St's schedule will come into play here. Cincy may have a better shot than Boise who has a high school schedule. But if it comes down to a one loss SEC team or Big 12 team and one of those undefeateds, I think the SEC or Big 12 will get the nod over one of these teams. In fact it happened last year. UF with one loss played for MNC over Utah who was undefeated.
As for OU, I'm in agreement with others that OU's shot is over.
I agree with you to some degree I do think Bradford calling the plays would have given the team more confidence i just don't know if it would have made much more of an impact. It sure didn't in the Ok State game. No ones gonna have time to stand in the pocket this year at Oklahoma. We lost Ryan Broyles, really the only threat we had left in the WR corps in the 1st quarter. 6 to 8 weeks is what is being said. I have to disagree with you good folks about Sam Bradford. As good as he is, getting Sam back won't help as much as you think. We don't have a kid that has shown he wants to be a big time WR. Our O line is, well heck I'll say it like it is, they're just barely better than awful. So Sam won't have much to work with when, maybe even if, he comes back.
I like what I see with the Tide. Can I live vicariously through your kids this season?
