Elmore, Al.
I watched a clip today on Mike Ford and I can say this guy is the real deal. He just explodes through the line and appears to have the vision to make the right cuts, similar to Shawn Alexander but maybe faster.
With Darby, Johns, Ford, Coffee and Upchurch ready to go next year, the ground game should be in great shape.

to make those holes... :D

no kidding.....I've been high on Ford for a very long time....but, as we know even with Darby, we've gotta have holes to run through.

Talent is coming, I just hope the staff can do something with it.

Is Ford a RS possibility? It seems like there won't be enough carries to go around next year.

If he's able to get here in December, I look for him to leap Coffee.

Coffee is great, but I think Ford is just a little better.....as long as he can pick up blitzes/blocking etc.....Hargrave was probably the best thing that could've happend to Ford for experience on the field and in the classroom.

So that would make Bama 6 or 7 deep at RB, with Upchurch and Ford the only two yet to take an SEC snap. Does that logjam push Castille into FB fulltime? What about Johns? Does he move to MLB in the spring or does he become the heir apparent at FB? I know what you guys are gonna say: "Its a good problem to have." But it is still a problem.

JJ needs to become this team's 'Slash'. Play RB some, have a QB package for him, line up in the slot, he is so talented.

I watched footage of Mike Ford about a year ago and I was blown away. But like others have said, if we don't fix our O-line problems it's all academic.

I agree with Earle

The offensive line is where we need the most help, I sure hope we land Andre Smith and a dozen more just like him. It takes so long to develop the big guys, I've always wondered why they don't call the line the skill positions, because of how much training it takes to get one able to play the position.

Coffee...

has too much speed to move to fullback. If he moves anywhere, it needs to be outside, where that speed can be utilized. But the open wound is obvious - we need OL and we need OL coaching...

I was in awe after watching his video a while back. His vision/anticipation is incredible. Call me crazy, but his moves remind me of Gale Sayers.

I have watched the crimson tradition videos

I have got to say that MF is indeed the real deal!!!!! His feild vision is exellent and shows great power and speed. He is going to be a game breaker next season. If we decide to coach an O-Line in the off season watch out for Mike Ford.

i was on the maryland terp board a while back, and they have some special players at hargrove, morgan green rb sharing time with mike ford, aleeze, best def end in american last year out of high school, and they had reports from the hargrove games this year. and mike ford is really showing off at hargrove, and should be ready to do real damage in the sec next season. like said we just need a good offensive line. just imagine where ken darby would have been behind the lines of auburn, lsu, or tenn. next year ford, and darby still should be special.

O'line is developing fine. We are so young it's sick... but thats a good things because once we get maturity the others teams will be young.. :-)

With all the talent at RB maybe we line JJ up at QB and run the wishbone..
MF and Darby in the BF.... hehe
