Million Dollar Band is great! (4th quarter song)

I love the way the band does this song. This is one of the best songs our marching band does. Hope they continue the 4th quarter song!

I have pretty good seats on the 45yd line in the East UD. I don't care what the band plays as long as they continue to sit where they do...the UD can't hear them!

Move and then get back to me!

I'll probably get banned again - but, what has that song got to do with BAMA football? Not very rousing to me, but I guess for some it is. I had rather hear a bad rendition of Sweet Home Alabama or the BAMA fight song would be FANTASTIC. Oh well, what do you expect from a ol lizard anyway - ROOLLL T I D E

I may be an old fart, but I like the song. I especially like how the band seems to enjoy it so much. It's not all about us fans and what we like, you know.

No it doesn't have anything specific to do with Alabama football, but then neither does some of the other music they play. That's why there is a fight song, alma mater and cheers.

Given that there are so many complainers about "Basketcase", does anyone besides me find it ironic that the opening line is "Do you have the time to listen to me whine?" :)

That is a great post. I am sure that ' Stars Fell on Alabama" is not a song the band likes to play.
From a band member--this is not the easiest to play.-- The Band does a heck of a job.

I'm also reaching the 'old fart' stage (50+) and I enjoy hearing the band play this song. Heck, my son had to tell me what it was the first time I heard it at the stadium. Why not play it? The band looks to enjoy it a lot; when they aren't playing, the kids are dancing, etc. I find it fires me up for the 4th qtr.

Keep playing it!

Play some new age music. Something to get the young men roused up on the field. I know it would get there attention. Just a suggestion...
the football players actually like it. i don't know how true this is, but i was told that once they stopped playing between the 3rd and 4th quarter, the players asked for them to start playing it again.
