This is an opinion i share and if you're wondering how he will do in the draft chase said it better than anyone

JM will score high on the Wunderlich unless he takes too long to answer (he's by all accounts intelligent, but not a fast processor, and the Wunderlich is timed). He will run a fast 40. He'll probably throw a pretty ball to receivers against air. Some NFL scout/GM may think he can be the next Kordell Stewart, who was a second round pick (#60 overall). Compare his stats...

to JM's:

Stewart had an 11 year NFL career. He has stats as a QB, a runner, a receiver, a defender, and even as a punter. His versatility earned him the nickname "Slash" as in, he plays QB slash RB slash WR. JM's college passing stats overall are better than Kordell's, and I'm fairly certain JM is a better athlete. Someone will take him before the end of round 2 (I'd bet by pick 48), but that's not to say it'll be with the intention of making him a fulltime NFL QB...

Kordell Stewart was willing to play tailback and WR and was very good at both.

Will JM have that willingness? Actually, do NFL teams even consider that with their QB anymore, if said QB is a 1st or 2nd round pick?
Re point 1, there will be no LANK in the NFL. He'll play what he's told to play or he won't get paid.

Re point 2, neither being an NFL GM nor knowing any, I don't know how NFL GMs actually think. But to adapt a line from Moneyball, they shouldn't think about drafting players; they should think about drafting wins. If the best move to get wins at pick X is JM, you should draft JM...

my thoughts are what could have been ... he had all measurables and nice long bomb. he could never be consistent and overcome his deficiencies as QB

Stewart could have ended up a legendary NFL player, but at one point he decided he was only a QB. He fizzled out after that. He like Jalen had a cannon arm.
