they have to be licking their chopsI felt some of the plans we ran against LSU resembled some of the stuff Vandy did against us...
Btw, I think LSU will struggle with Vandy.
I do not think this, which is why I am questioning the narrative that his issues can be explained away by injury at this point.JM said he was fine. CKD said he was fine.
As we all know in football the only time you are 100% is the first day of practice. Everyone plays with some kind of ailment. It has been said over the years, there is a difference in being hurt and injured. JM may have had a nagging thing or two, but to claim injury and to say it was 100% the reason for his miscues would be a scapegoat tactic. If CKD said he was fine, and then gave the green light for _________ play to be called in the huddle, then CKD thought JM could make and execute the play. You honestly think CKD called a play and said to himself during the snap, "I know this isn't going to work because Milroe is hurt, but man isn't this a great play design against this front and coverage."?
Jalen has mechanical issues that affect his accuracy, but he had been particularly atrocious the last few games and wasn’t even trying his bread and butter deep ball throws.I do not think this, which is why I am questioning the narrative that his issues can be explained away by injury at this point.
When you can't defend the QB run, Vandy is what you do not want to see.I felt some of the plans we ran against LSU resembled some of the stuff Vandy did against us...

It very well could be from watching tape and the coaching staff telling him to backoff on the deep ball attempts unless the guy is wide open. Here's the thing with Jalen and the deep ball, once he throws one successful deep ball, he tends to keep wanting to go back to that well too often, especially on early downs. When it's not successful it puts us in long down and distances. There's nothing wrong with throwing a deep ball, but there's also nothing wrong with hitting the TE or hitting the RB on a swing route for 6-8 yards either.Jalen has mechanical issues that affect his accuracy, but he had been particularly atrocious the last few games and wasn’t even trying his bread and butter deep ball throws.
Just giving him the benefit of the doubt.
I've said it before - he's been injured enough to affect his accuracy...Jalen has mechanical issues that affect his accuracy, but he had been particularly atrocious the last few games and wasn’t even trying his bread and butter deep ball throws.

You keep saying this but I haven't heard anyone on the team say it. Do you have any hard evidence or proof that he is hurt?I've said it before - he's been injured enough to affect his accuracy...
He'd have to have been accurate to begin with, though. Injury or not, Milroe has never been accurate in his entire careerI've said it before - he's been injured enough to affect his accuracy...
To put a positive spin on it, he has been consistent. Consistently inaccurate...He'd have to have been accurate to begin with, though. Injury or not, Milroe has never been accurate in his entire career
Earl said it. Several posters have said it, including me.You keep saying this but I haven't heard anyone on the team say it. Do you have any hard evidence or proof that he is hurt?
LSU did poorly against us, because they were looking ahead to Vandy.I felt some of the plans we ran against LSU resembled some of the stuff Vandy did against us...
Btw, I think LSU will struggle with Vandy.
It's not about having proof. What we are telling you is the truth. You'll hear more about it after season is over.So no proof.
We should win those, but we are going to have to win a game through the air at some point, if we are to win a National ChampionshipmCKD worked to Jalen's strengths in the LSU game, and if he continues to call plays like that for Jalen, Bama should win the remaining games left on their schedule.
It was most likely LSU, not CKD worked to Jalen’s strengths. Rookie running Texas A&M QB has shredded LSU defense in a prior game.CKD worked to Jalen's strengths in the LSU game, and if he continues to call plays like that for Jalen, Bama should win the remaining games left on their schedule.
Without proof it's just a rumor or an excuse for poor performance. But I guess we will wait until after the season is over to see if you are correct. It's not about having proof. What we are telling you is the truth. You'll hear more about it after season is over.
