JM said he was fine. CKD said he was fine.

As we all know in football the only time you are 100% is the first day of practice. Everyone plays with some kind of ailment. It has been said over the years, there is a difference in being hurt and injured. JM may have had a nagging thing or two, but to claim injury and to say it was 100% the reason for his miscues would be a scapegoat tactic. If CKD said he was fine, and then gave the green light for _________ play to be called in the huddle, then CKD thought JM could make and execute the play. You honestly think CKD called a play and said to himself during the snap, "I know this isn't going to work because Milroe is hurt, but man isn't this a great play design against this front and coverage."?
I do not think this, which is why I am questioning the narrative that his issues can be explained away by injury at this point.

Jalen has mechanical issues that affect his accuracy, but he had been particularly atrocious the last few games and wasn’t even trying his bread and butter deep ball throws.

Just giving him the benefit of the doubt.

It very well could be from watching tape and the coaching staff telling him to backoff on the deep ball attempts unless the guy is wide open. Here's the thing with Jalen and the deep ball, once he throws one successful deep ball, he tends to keep wanting to go back to that well too often, especially on early downs. When it's not successful it puts us in long down and distances. There's nothing wrong with throwing a deep ball, but there's also nothing wrong with hitting the TE or hitting the RB on a swing route for 6-8 yards either.

You keep saying this but I haven't heard anyone on the team say it. Do you have any hard evidence or proof that he is hurt?
Earl said it. Several posters have said it, including me.

They're not going to come out and say it. Milroe was injured in shoulder and left leg. Even his throws in LSU was still off. He's not 100 percent. I would say he's playing at 80 percent right now.

CKD worked to Jalen's strengths in the LSU game, and if he continues to call plays like that for Jalen, Bama should win the remaining games left on their schedule.
We should win those, but we are going to have to win a game through the air at some point, if we are to win a National Championshipm

If Jalen is hurt, I hope they don't let him run the ball and get him out quickly Saturday... Need him ready for the last two games.
