Interesting read and video.

As most of you have already heard, the SEALs that assassinated UBL had a dog with them. As would be expected, these particular dogs are a cut above the other military dogs.

That video is amazing. I can't even imagine the training required to get a dog to parachute out of a plane unattached to its handler. And the pic of the dog HALO jump gear on was cool.

Yeah, the idea of a dog so well-trained it's willing to jump out of an airplane on its own is pretty darn impressive. I can understand them being able to get it to go strapped to its handler's chest, but to jump unattached to the handler is asking an animal to overcome all its instincts. Wow!
