Most embarrassing butt kicking since....

LSU vs. Alabama Saturday Nov. 15 2003

27-3: From a defensive standpoint, LSU absolutely dominated us; if I recall we only had one first down in the first half and that was on a penalty. I also remember we had 1st and goal on the four in the 4th quarter and they refused to let us in the endzone (we kicked a 35 yard FG).

I go with the Louisville and VT games. I sat through that VT game and couldn't believe what was happening to us on the field.

69 Auburn game was as bad as Saturday....

Well I am going to go back in time a little and throw out another game during Coach Bryant's 69 season...Auburn beat us 49-26 in Birmingham that year. He made them pay, though, winning 10 of the next 12, including 9 in a row before we lost to Auburn in 82, 23-22....RTR

That was a pretty numbing loss but it was sugar coated because we had the new coach, no time to install the playbook, probation, and last but not least, depth issues excuses. Plus, LSU was stacked to the hilt with talent and was on track for the NC.

This one is probably the most embarrassing because we were a Top Ten team  that looked more like a Sunbelt doormat on Offense.

The LSU game in 2001 when Rohan Davey and co. put up 600+ yards of offense. Unbelievable.

Sadly enough, I've been to several games that made the ride home unbearable. I never got to go to games as a kid so I was around 21 when I attended my first game. Here are my most excruciating losses that I've witnessed in eight short years of going to games. These are not ranked, but just descriptions:

1. LA Tech - most disappointed (we couldn't stop the backup QB in the final drive)

2. S. Miss 21-0 - most shocked (they jumped on us quickly, offense was horrible)

3. LSU 2001 - most aggravated (we were in the end zone, 3 rows behind the tuba section of the LSU band. The band stood up and played after every LSU offensive play. Watched Rohan and Josh Reed break all kinds of SEC passing records)

4. N. Illinois - most upset (we are supposed to beat schools like this!)

After the N. Illinois game, I had a friend who lived near B'ham that asked me to stop going to games because we lost too much when I was there
However, I've been on a winning streak since then. :)
