All you have to say is "Your team played a great game, congrats on the win...can't wait for next year's IB".

I bet most Auburn fans will leave it be and not rub it in. If they don't, then walk away. You won't ever get through to those type of people.

Well, of course, I will be a HUGE Missouri fan next week. But, really, do they really stand a chance? The game will be over after the 1st quarter. The barn will not go to the BCS Title Game. I don't see how they can seeing as how they do have a loss and the rest of the nation is ready to end the SEC dominance. FSU-Ohio State will be the game for all the marbles.

one of their fans was pushing me and two other Bama fans down the steps as we were trying to leave. None of us were talking smack. When I tried to right myself, he called a b-. They cannot handle winning.

Really? I am getting lite up by vol fans! It is so sad!
Yea but these stupid Tennessee fans keep text me about the game. I'm like you have no room to talk. This is why I hate Tennessee fans. Yep just got another one. Can't turn the phone off because of my job. It sucks. My phone is linked to my job for page outs. I'm about to take care of it though the way I train on a daily basis. They need to stop now.
Nope nothing...Vols fans have no room to talk smack at all!

The truth is, as unpopular as this may be, auburn fans, by and large just aren't good human beings. I got no love for any of them, my own barner relatives included. They are just trash. They are trash as fans, and they are trash as human beings. Of course, you are going to have some Bama fans who want to run to their rescue and defend them. They say "oh, come on, don't go that far, they are people too, they just celebrate their wins a little differently than we do". I sure hope (for their sake) that they don't believe that. I know I don't. Ask yourself this. If they will run you down over a game, what else will they do? This is why I don't like them. I don't trust them. They are snakes. People can "dislike" the posts that put auburn in a negative light all they want to. It doesn't change the fact of just how bad auburn "people" really are.

The ones I love are the ones that are talking smack and never played the game. And the best one is my brother-in-law that keeps making remarks on Facebook about Bama fans claiming a "moral" victory. Makes no sense to me, but then again, he is a few bricks shy of a load.

The Barn fans I know will rib me a little Monday and that will be the end of it until next year. We will have a good laugh at my expense and I can afford it with my team coming off a 2 National Championship run at 11-1. I think I will survive the blow to my vicariously supported ego.

My SIL (who lives with us) is a typical aubie. When *U loses, she's not interested in watching the game or even hear about it. Heck, she wouldn't even watch the game yesterday. But after the game (we had to tell her how it ended and who won!), and this morning she's strutting around sticking out her tongue and doing her childish "na na na na na" and talking about how good her tiggers were and how she "knew" who was going to win. (She gets her news online from the 8th street rag in Columbus.) Just a little while ago she dug her barner jacket out of the depths of her closet and is strutting it around proudly as if she was on the field herself.
IMO she personifies the typical bandwagon barner, and I don't know whether to laugh at her or just shake my head in disgust...

I've never had a single issues from the barn fans that actually attended the university - all the problems I've ever had come from those who did not. That pattern seems to fit every school.

I won't say who did it, but one poster here sent me a PM defending auburn fans, and it nearly made me leave the site. First of all, defense of auburn fans is wasted on me. Second of all, like I already said, if they will go this over the top over a game, what else would they be willing to do? This is why I have even written off family who are barners.

The difference between us and Barners is that if Adam made that field goal, we would've been like "whew we barely escaped RTR" but Barners are like "Yeah we crushed y'all, y'all suck hahaha!!!"
