You have my deepest sympathy and prayers. I have traveled the road you just traveled and it is a very painful and sad one. As people will tell you, only time will take away the terrible pain you feel. But it will get better. Just remember, your dad will always live in your heart for the most important thing you will learn is that love never dies. And as long as it lives in you, your dad will live in you.
My dad died in 1992 and I can still see him alive and feel his hug as clearly today as when he was alive. I will always miss him and love him. And so I know that he is alive in me.
