My Son was hit by a car

Yesteday, my son was hit by a car while walking to his Grandma's house. AS of now he has a broken arm, 45 broken ribs, a broken collarbone, a partially collapsed lung.

He is 16, name is Brendan. Please pray for him.

The first hospital had him medivac (Arch helicopter) to a Children's hospital he in Missouri.

Update: Brendan's surgery went well, still hurting but improvingdaily. We hope to be out of the hospital by the weekend. thank you for your prayers, they have been felt.

Brendan came home yesterday. He is still on morphine to control the pain, but doing well. Thank you for your prayers.

Praise the Lord! I'm so happy he's home and recuperating with his family and home surroundings. I'll continue to Pray for Brendan.

Here is an update, that I shared with illinitide:

"He is doing much better, the elbow is still limited in movement, we have gotten a Joint Assisted Splint that extends past the point he is comfortable with. The elbow is probably around 70%

He started school last week with no difficulties. The ribs have healed with little or no difficulties

Mentally he is struggling some. On vacation we went swimming, he was very self-conscious of his scars, (the chest wound looks like he was shot or stabbed) and as people mentioned or noticed the scars, he became very aware of what they were saying.
