You can't count on UPS to do anything right.I'm in ATL and just got mine. Not that it matters because I was home, but the driver rang the doorbell and left. I was fully expecting to open the door to sign for them yet looked down and saw the envelope laying there. That could have been a huge issue when the envelope clearly stated "Signature required".
Just happy to have them! Roll Tide!

These are the most true words ever spoken on this board. UPS tracking shows my tickets shipped from Arkansas on 8/4, arrived in Memphis 8/4, went to Montgomery on 8/5, got to Birmingham at 3:00 this morning, out for delivery at 5:01 a.m., and then at 6:29 a.m., it says "Receiver requested hold for a future delivery date / Delivery rescheduled."You can't count on UPS to do anything right.

As I had made no request whatsoever, I was concerned about some kind of fraud. So I called UPS customer service. After navigating their voice menu, I got a reasonably helpful lady who said she would send a message to the local UPS facility, and I would get a call within 60 minutes. A little over 2 hours later, I got a call from the Birmingham facility. This lady told me that the tickets actually have not made it to Birmingham yet, despite what the tracking system shows. UPS expects them to arrive in Birmingham this weekend for delivery Monday or Tuesday. She said other ticket holders in the Birmingham area will have the same problem.
I'm not sure what to make of all this. Why would the system show "arrival scan" and "out for delivery" in Birmingham if in fact the package is not in Birmingham??? The lady gave me a nonsensical answer about how the tickets were set up for a "forward scan" and thus the system was "updating automatically even though the package wasn't actually here." If true, this basically means the whole UPS tracking system is a sham.
I've always had much better luck with Fed Ex than with UPS, and I don't know why the University continues to use them with all the problems that have been documented over the years.
In any event, if anyone in Birmingham has similar problems, I'd love to know about it. Here's hoping tickets arrive safely next week.![]()
Ahhh AWESOME!!! and no do not think the numbers on the florida and barn tickets are coincidence!I just got mineee.
