Poll: Names on the back of the Jersey's, Yes or No!

names are fine, does not bother me, though I think it should be last names, or first initial with last. No nicknames.

What do you have against this?:

Yes kids would love it. How cool would it be even if you never touch the field you would at least have an Alabama Jersey with you name on the back. Frame that!!!

I vote for last names only and 1st name initials for same last names of multiple players. It's a lot easier to tell who's making the plays for people who aren't quiete as dedicated and don't learn the numbers... I don't think they should be big and gaudy though... As for the person who said they should have pictures on there... I hope that was a joke...

I voted yes, but if I am being honest it was for my own self-serving reasons. I love it when I'm watching the game with a bunch of people and a player makes a big play. Everyone starts looking around and asking who was that? I spit out the answer only to have the player turn around and prove me right.

So if for no other reason, I like the names on the back because they make me look smart. Although, knowing their names could be making me look like a weirdo obsessed with Bama football, but thats alright with me. Roll Tide!

Verne Lundquist struggles badly enough as it is.

Take the names off the jerseys and the CBS broadcast would be a worse trainwreck than it already is.

If anything, the uniform changed more times under Bryant than any other coach.

Coach Bryant didn't have to deal with a fanbase saying "that's not the way the Bear did it" every time he wanted to change something.
