Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest

One of my favorite annual traditions (along with The Running of the Bulls, Ashura, and The seebell Goatfest) is today.

Joey Chestnut will probably need to scarf down upwards of 60 hot dogs to waddle away with the title again this year.

It's on tape delay at 3 PM (EDT) on ESPN. Probably because some of the more graphic regurgitation scenes are inappropriate for some viewers.

The event is sanctioned by the International Federation of Competitive Eating and Major League Eating.

My information on the record was incorrect. The winner took 70. 70. Hot. Dogs.

I don't know how the system can digest that much sodium and pig parts.

I think if a reversal of fortune occurs during regulation the fortune reversee is disqualified.
