Pretty sure she reps a few Bama guys. Maybe Jedrick Wills too?
I think the first player she represented in the NFL was Quinnen Williams. That was in 2019. I read her book a month ago.. pretty interesting. She seems very smart, bright, intelligent. She is the definition of a work a holic. She seems to be on the level of Coach Saban as far as her work ethic goes.

I always thought he was the greatest high school quarterback ever, so good he almost made it work for multiple National Championships for Alabama. But, like Frenchy's inability to conceive of the reality of a strike zone, when Hurts got to the Do-Or-Die game, in the Majors, he came up short.

I never blamed him. We inserted him into the lineup with nothing but "do whatever you can to win the game. Our brilliant Plan A got punched in the mouth". And he did; again and again and again. He was the best offensive option on the team. I believed he loved Hero Ball; he's human. But his more and more talented team-mates were becoming more and more resentful. Soon, they stopped committing to their routes and fakes because they knew Jalen would tuck it and run it, probably for a touchdown. So what could you say?

Even though his Dad was a Coach, and I was sure he, at one time, had the ability and understanding of what it would take to read defenses well enough to win, I thought it was too late for him. He has really humbled himself and done the best he could. Extremely impressed.
I think you've got a lot of it right. Jalen did a ton at Alabama when you look back on it. (And by the way, that's why we claim him - he did a lot more at UA than OU).

We were so, so close in 2016. And it is a great deal because of him that we were so close, and it was not his fault at all that we came up just short.

If we had been able to keep Lane (or better, if Lane had been able to "keep himself") there is no telling what Jalen would have accomplished above and beyond what did do at Alabama. I'm not sure what would have happened with Tua, or even Mac, if that had been the case.

Seeing how things have turned out, perhaps it worked out the best for all 3 of those guys. But it is amazing to me that where everyone stands today, Jalen, not Tua or Mac, is set up to succeed the best long term by far.

I know a lot of Sooners that thought "how good must Tua be if he put this guy on the bench?" He was outstanding from day one in Norman.

Love the deal for Jalen Hurts, hate it for Eagles. The last time the Eagles paid a QB coming off a big year was Carson Wentz. Not saying, just saying.

Prove me wrong, Jalen.

Yeah, Hurts is a force not just because he's an incredibly talented athlete, but also because of his 'servant leadership' mentality. He doesn't whine, puts in the work, waits for his time to shine.

That's outstanding leadership and it's quite rare.

The off-the-field-stuff is what made JH my fav Bama player ever. Yeah, his playing was a blast to watch, but the discipline and maturity he showed off the field is what most men should aspire to mimic.

In this new age of NIL and instant eligible free transfers, it is going to become more and more common place. I'm happy Jalen had a landing place with the Sooners, and acknowledge it did its part to catapult him into the NFL.

Bama built Jalen (up to a point).

But to be fair Bama couldn't have built Jalen without Jalen's incredible work ethic and team-first attitude.

I've never felt so sorry for a player as I did for Jalen the night Tua replaced him in the NC game against Georgia. But how he rooted for Tua and Team that night was amazing. His post-game interview was incredible. And then, that's when the amazing work ethic went to another level and he worked his butt off over the next year (while playing QB2) until he was needed and he came off the bench and was ready! As ready as he was, Tua was better at the time when he was healthy.

So, he did the right thing going to OK. And then OK built Jalen up a little more and the rest is history. What an incredible story!

This is one we'll tell to our grandkids to teach them about attitude, work ethic and never giving up!

Just incredible. As much as I liked him, I felt sure he needed to change positions to play in the NFL. He started to come on his last season at Alabama, though, under Dan Enos and it showed when he came in in relief in the SEC Championship Game. And, obviously, he blew up at Oklahoma. But even then I had my doubts he'd be an elite NFL starter.
Him winning that SEC CG was like winning 2 NC's to me. I'll always love Jalen Hurts.

Jalen is smart enough to realize that he cannot win championships on his own, and once a QB demands and receives a contract that prices the team out of fielding a competitive supporting roster, his window starts to close quickly. Credit the young man (it's hard to believe he's only 26) for having the wherewithal and the selflessness to see the big picture instead of just the "me picture".
