NCAA Director of Enforcement resigns

NCAA probably wouldn't let him do what they hired him to do. He sounds like a guy that would have hammered the barn if allowed to do so.

Exactly. He probably saw how uneven and corrupt the NCAA is and really wanted nothing to do with them. He was a marine and marines believe in loyalty and character. Neither of those qualities exist at the NCAA.

He started 8 months ago... so roughly November 2011... the Auburn case was over by then... If he truly felt that compliance was not consistently applied, then I would hope he would express why and make a statement...

May have to do more with the Miami case and the frustration of working without the ability subpoena powers.. That would be painful for an ex-law enforcement person.

I am still amazed at the lack of severity of the penalties levied on Ohio St.

I see a tell all book in his future. :biggrin2:

I can just imagine the frustration a marine and ex-law enforcment would have working for the Congress Training Camp.

And the NCAA said they would reopen the case if necessary. I envision him looking at the case and wanting to reopen it. They say no. He says find yourself another boy.
