Wow. What a mess. Thanks for posting this. The one thing in this I do know anything about is that the state parties getting dismissed was as predictable as the sun rising in the east -- the average second semester law student would have been able to get that motion granted. I'm not sure I understand why they decided to go that route in the first place.

The interesting question is whether they are bluffing about having even more detail to put in a later state court complaint (which without the boring legal detail, would not be subject to dismissal on the same grounds). Most of the time I'd be inclined to say that a remark like that is a bluff to try to get the other side to settle without having to go to the trouble and expense of actually preparing the complaint. In this situation, though, there's already been so many twists and turns I'm not sure exactly what would surprise me.

I think its already been mentioned some time ago in this thread, but so much of this brings back bad memories of the late 90s early 2000s. Sends shivers down my spine, to be honest.

Per Bjork on the Finebaum show, they released it as a result of a FOIA request-------really? When they haven't responded to any of the others in a timely manner? Still think they had rather climb a tree and lie than stay on the ground and tell the truth.
