If this is true, it's a joke. I guess the NCAA's new thing is - the lesser the crime, the bigger the penalty; the bigger the crime, the lesser the punishment is.

That would be almost too good to be true. If they reduce the sanctions on OSU, the stuff will hit the fan starting on both coasts and converging in Indianapolis.

I am 50-50 on this because it is a sign of the NCAA times. With the goofy rules handed down lately it seems any rumor, no matter how far-fetched it seems -- could be true. One year ago today I would have given this a 100% untrue rating. Today 50-50.

I can pretty much guarantee that this is phony. If this were true it would have hit ESPN and Yahoo Sports by now, and I have seen nothing about it on either. Also this is the same site that published that Jim Tressell and Joe Paterno were retiring this year, and both turned out to be false. Although if it's on the internet than it has to be true.
