New JOX lineup starting Monday 8/12

I've started listening to the Matt and Scott show during my lunch break at work and they aren't as bad as they used to be. At least I can still hear the Round Table during my break but will have to find something else to listen to driving home unless ESPN bans Tammy and Co.

Matt and Scott have improved a lot from the beginning. I'm really happy they're going to be on at night as right now they just have some awful CBS programming. I do wish the RT was 4 hours and that they'd cut an hour out of the OD.

Overall JOX will probably have their best lineup ever simply because they'll have a live show at night. I'll have to listen to Rick and Bubba in the morning unless the 100.5 ESPN affiliate has the regular ESPN shows (which would be Mike and Mike in the AM). I think Colin Cowherd comes on at 9am which would be nice if I had the chance to listen (though I'm at work by 7:15am and can't listen to the radio).

Why did the RT have to give up an hour? I'd rather the OD stop @ 9 & the RT air 9-1. I know that most midday shows air 10-1 but why subject your listeners to 4 hours of AU propaganda & the moron known as Tony Kurre?

Also glad the midday MASS is off the midday. It will be good to have local evening sports talk but their is not very good.

Instead of midday mass, JOX should have put them on the MIDNIGHT MASS. They're terrible!

I'm with on 100.5 having national shows. I too will be a Mike & Mike listener. If they did put a local show on the 6-10 am slot Scarbinsky & Griffin were actually good. I was very skeptical at first but enjoyed the show & listened every morning.

Paul is really the best sports radio entertainment we've ever had here in Birmingham. I've liked him, hated him and laughed at the antics on his show for a long time. I'm glad he's back but not too crazy about the time slot. The only time I listen is in the car and that is usually on my way home from work 5-6.

Don't get your hopes up on Finebaum "changing course". He will go with what got him rich. He has even claimed Slive told him "not to change". Get ready to hear Tammy within the first 15 minutes.

Completely agree. The best show on the station is the one that got trimmed.
