Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc.'s new chief executive — the turnaround specialist who led Enron Corp. for almost three years — will be paid $760 an hour, plus expenses, the company said Monday.

When I think of Krispy Kreme, I can only envision:

His recipe for success would be to drop the name "Doughnuts" like KFC dropped the "Fried" part. Then, mix up the menu with some low carb stuff and add some sandiwches and salads like some of these uppity bagel boutiques. Advertise and get the word out that it's a new Krispy Kreme, train the employees on customer satuisfaction.

There. I could be their CEO and would only ask for $500 an hour.

I disagree with you. I do know what you are saying, in fact I know how it makes people feel. However, this guy, other athletes, CEOs, whomever, are worth whatever someone will pay them in the marketplace. IF TW was in his prime today he would be getting paid what the marketplace was willing. Which might be twice what Arod makes.
