New Tide Pride openings

So I've been on the waiting list for about 4 or 5 years now. Monday a week ago I got a letter in the mail. My time was up, fill out the application, send in the money and I'm in. They were opening 2000 seats. 2 for each of the top 1000 people on the list. I confirmed today my app had made their hands and was checked off. I get my ticket order form in a few days. They stated in the original mailing that there were 16,000 names on the current waiting list.

I'm one of those 16,000. Here's hoping my number comes up before I'm too old to enjoy Bama games... (in other words, before I die...:biggrin:)

Congrats, AlistarWills... I, too, have made TP this year and am quite excited to be in. It's nice to know that some of us are getting in... I knew this year would present the best opportunity with the expansion and I'd have to take advantage now or perhaps never. We should have a new member tailgate at the first game!
 
Congrats. Don't forget about the May deadline for your ticket order forms, otherwise the list will get shorter......

I talked to them yesterday and they said it'd be a couple weeks before they sent me my ticket order form. Maybe that May deadline is for existing TP members.

The existing TP members is May. I can see the wheels in motion already. I paid for mine online earlier this month. I hope I am lucky enough to win one of the prizes....

I thought many a times during the Shula years about buying multiple tickets just because I could. I knew if we turned it around those tickets would be like gold. Geesh was I right. How many times have I regretted not buying more...oh well, I should be thankful for the seats I have. I'm glad to see some movement in the Tide Pride list.
 
Renewed my season tickets this morning. Now I'm off to look for a new arm & leg to replace the ones I just gave to Tide Pride. :biggrin2:

Congrats to those of you who are getting off that waiting list this year. I've held season tickets for 8 years now and, even in years where I couldn't make it to many games, I've never regretted my decision to join Tide Pride. I can hardly wait to see our "new" stadium this season. :)

If you've been on over 4 years then you should have gotten in. The cutoff seems to have been October 2006. You had to be on the $130 per seat per year list to get in this round.

Dang, I got on the list in November 06. Maybe next year!
 
Was just notified today I'll be getting my letter for season tickets in the next couple of days! ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!
 
I got a letter about 2 weeks ago saying that due to the stadium expansion, they were offering new memberships into the Tide Pride. I jumped on my chance! I have been on the waiting list since 2003 or 2004 :eek: They went ahead and charged me the full amount when I sent my form back. It hurt my wallet, but I know I am going to have a blast this fall!

When you do get a letter from them, you only have a week or two to act on it before they offer your spot to someone else.
 
I am a UA student and I am already on the list so when I graduate in 2012 I might have a chance to get tickets. I know I probably won't but I have been on the list since 2008. I like to think though perhaps 5 years or so after graduation I will be able to join the Tidepride community.

Just got my letter today! Roll Tide Roll!

I signed up just before Saban was hired, but was worried I'd get caught up in the explosion of people getting on afterward. Fortunately, I got in.
