i dont think tebow would have had a huge impact on the offensive production last year, yet again i think people are over estimating the huge problem that was the offensive line problems along with the S&C support program.

I think we have top quality play makers on the offensive side of the ball, lots and lots of potential at the RB position, proven WR and some guys who have shown glimpses of potential, our O-line can only improve thanks to the new and mandatory S&C program, i think something we're missing that we haven't missed out on in a couple of years, LB we have some guys who can fill that spot but nothing like the play makers we've had in the past, lets just hope that our DB's have worked on their form tackling.

we may not have a lot of first rounders, but many of guys are solid contributers. That's no consolation if you're only looking for first rounders, but our guys are good "team" guys and they play their positions well.

"you can have all the talent in the world and if the players dont play 100% every play it does not matter.
or you can have a player with lesser talent but knows how to work hard and give 100% every play and the coaches get the best out of him
You will see a different bama team in 2007 all around both sides of the ball."

Several days ago, he posted here under a thread titled "Sorry" -

"I am sorry about my grammer,I have Celebral Palsay and can not type too or think right,I will not be posting again."

I've worked with people with disabilities for decades, so the remark about "think right" raised both my suspicions and my hackles, since there's nothing at all wrong with the way the vast majority of folks with CP think (or spell).

He's really an individual we've had a great deal of difficulty with over a period of years (as other boards also have). Be on your guard with anyone whose grammar and spelling resemble something from an old Cracker Barrel menu...

For this reason, I feel that some expectations for next year are getting overblown. If this turns out to be true (and, obviously, I hope it doesn't), I hope those who are expecting 10 or more wins can readjust expectations without becoming upset and angry.

That's a great point Earle, and I hope that all Bama fans listen to it. Despite what some may think, a $4 million salary doesn't equate to overnight success. We are still really short from a talent perspective and it will take time to correct.
