GAINESVILLE, FL –
A close game early, No. 23 Florida ran away from No. 18 Alabama baseball in the fifth, as the Crimson Tide dropped its final regular season contest 9-3 to the Gators in Saturday's rubber-game at Condron Family Ballpark. The defeat stamps Alabama's regular season record at 40-15 with a 16-14 mark in Southeastern Conference play.

Bryce Fowler paced the Tide offense with a 2-for-5 line, including an RBI double. Justin Lebron was 1-for-4 with a double and a sacrifice fly, while Brennen Norton collected a double and two runs scored as part of his 1-for-4 day at the plate. Richie Bonomolo Jr. and Will Hodo also collected base-hits in Saturday's contest.

Zane Adams (7-3) made his 14th start of the campaign, logging 3.1 innings while surrendering six hits and four runs to go with two walks and three strikeouts. Austin Morris and Connor Lehman were both responsible for two earned runs in their respective relief outings, though Aeden Finateri, Hagan Banks and Beau Bryans all produced scoreless appearances in the later innings.
