You're both wrong. Urban said it's a sprained foot. I don't see how he can be just as fast as he ever was with a sprained foot. It's a bruised foot. Not a sprained ankle.

It took me 6 months just to walk w/o a limp. Very painful, I feel his pain.I am extremely familiar with the injury that Demps is suffering because I have seen it "exactly" in a college football environment.
When they call it a "sprain" and a "bruised foot" it really can mean the same thing in this circumstance. Here is how this injury often goes down.....
Someone with elite speed, plants or makes a sharp cut, ALMOST ALWAYS on artificial turf. The ankle literally feels like it is rolling over, almost like over the ball of the foot. An injury like this is "techincally" a sprain, some have called it a strain, but it always has an intense Black to it in the entire area covering the skin....it appears as a bruise.
This injury has sharp pain at the onset, and is menacing if not almost completely rested for a long period of time, which is several months at the least. If not rested the injury will get slowly worse. His cutting will be ginger, he will lose more than a step. If he keeps playing, he may completely wear it out it out in another month or so. This type of injury can take up to two years to conpletely heal. Most people are lucky to get 85% of their prior potential back when sustaining that injury. If he is limping around campus with an air-cast, and his injury was deeply black brisued, mostly where the areas foot meets the ankle....he's got it.
I feel sorry for him, because he's going to be severely limited this year, and his career may never be at quite the same level ever again.
You know they will shoot-it up with some sort of mild legal steriod come Saturday....that only works for a few minutes....once he starts cutting full speed again, he will have issues. And shooting it up with the modern cortizones multiple times is so bad for the kids over the long haul.
.
I've also seen it in soccer...the same injury....it's somewhat common in soocer. Some of the soccer players have told me it took them up to two years to get "almost" 100% again....six month just to walk somwhat normal.
The news report which was put out said that an OL stepped on his foot...I am extremely familiar with the injury that Demps is suffering because I have seen it "exactly" in a college football environment.
