1580 SAT and 13 ACT?

Who took the SAT for him? Those two scores do NOT gee haw. One of these things is NOT like the other, and I suspect a misprint or a misquote. If all he can muster is 13, I don't expect him to qualify anywhere, anytime soon.

Not mad cause he isn't coming here, but I didn't know his scores were that low.

Besides the ACT and SAT scores not coinciding, it says his visit to Morgantown this weekend will be his first official. Wasn't his visit to Bama an official?? And if that's all he said then I don't see anywhere where he said Bama was out of it.

It just doesn't seem like that whole article makes any sense.

I think the SAT is out of 2400 now.

This may just be simple mans math but 13 out of 36 is 36%. 1580 out of 2400 is 66%. And the SAT counts off when you get an answer wrong. That still doesn't add up much but there's probably some determining factor I don't know about.

Well they aren't scored 0/X. They are scaled from different starting points, ie the lowest possible scores on the tests aren't zero.

Sounds a bit fishy to me - Devine hasn't exactly been very chatty with the press. If it's true, oh well. His freakin' loss. But this looks like something a high school journalism class would have written.

You also get 700 points on the SAT for just signing your name....it may have even increased now that they made it longer.
Yes they added a writing section to the SAT and it is now out of 2400.....are those his final scores because if they are he is not going to come close to qualifying anywhere

Hey the kid is lights out,but have been saying all along no matter where he signs it's juco/prep school.

I never seriously thought we were in the picture for Devine. If CNS and his staff had a full year to recruit him it may be a different story.

I've thought he will go to F$U all along.

He is a great player, but with a 13 on his ACT, I don't see how he is going to qualify even if we do get him.

That article is not accurate, I am hearing. I have read that someone contacted his coach and specifically asked about this article, and he said he doesn't know where it came from, he said Alabama, FSU, and WVU are all on even ground.

On Rivals Radio, this morning, Rivals recruiting guru, Crabtree stated that BAMA was in the mix and that ND's coach spoke well of BAMA and that ND felt comfortable from his visit that the program at BAMA would stand behind him if there was work to be done on grades/test.

I'd make FSU and WVU my top two teams too if they were the only ones offering me! No surprise to me really since we haven't offered him. Still not sure about that one. Can't expect a guy like that to just walk on with other offers on the table.
