It's funny that you referenced the 2015 season because I think this game has a very similar feel to the 2015 game at UGA when we were coming off a loss to Ole Miss.....hell, we even have a similar QB situation going into this game as we did back in 2015. Coker starts the first couple of games, then Bateman started the Ole Miss game only to have Coker replace Bateman, which resulted in Coker winning the job full time. A lot of parallels in this team and that 2015 team at the moment...and I hope those parallels continue until about mid-January of 2024....

The problem with the parallels between 2015 and 2023......we don't have a Cam Robinson at LT, a Ryan Kelly at C....OJ Howard at TE......Derrick Henry at RB.....Calvin Ridley at WR.....AShawn Robinson and Jonathan Allen and Daron Payne and Jarran Reed and Dalvin Tomlinson at DL.....Reggie Ragland and Reuben Foster at MLB....Ryan Anderson and Tim Williams at OLB.....Marlon Humphrey and Minkah Fitzpatrick and Eddie Jackson in the secondary.

We also don't have Kirby Smart as DC.....Kiffin as OC....Cristobal as OL coach....Tucker as DB coach....Napier as WR coach....Lanning as a graduate assistant.

We were absolutely loaded with NFL talent and coaching talent in 2015.

Who are our 1st round draft picks prospects for this 2023 team. Dallas Turner? Kool-Aid? Latham? Malachi?

I don't think this year is 2015 but you're underrating the 2023 player talent. Lawson, Braswell, Downs, Niblack, Arnold, are all guys that will play in the NFL. Campbell probably ends up being an NFL guy. I still think we have some guys at WR who might be pretty good too.

I said parallels....I didn't say identical....That said, I bet when it's all said and done there will probably be double digit 1st rounders on this 2023 team.
