My heart aches, and a drowsy numbness pains
My sense, as though of crimson kool-aid I had drunk,
The proclamation of trouble upon the Plains
Each day wooed me to thy treasure trunk.

O Mega, a mod's padlock shall never render thee dead,
The hope springs eternal that drove thy heart to tick.
Spread over weeks, your essence felt, but hardly read
As page begat page when the mouses clicked.

Too behemoth to behold, your tangents point to hopes and fears,
Your haughty rank will never be disparaged,
Bumped into the pages of the yesteryears,
As each facet of your countless features ravaged.

All good things must meet their end,
but, Megathread, yours will be a life immortal
For to those whose spirits sing, "Fight on, men!"
Your records reveal a timeless portal.

Adieu! Adieu! Be on your way!
For a replacement love my heart must find
Unknowing what will I do now every day
But wade through new threads and search for thine!
