Considering who we are playing I have no problem with our defense. If it was not for them and an interception we would be down by 17, but our offense has to come play. It also did not help that blown call on the replay in favor of Ark in the 1st quarter. Still trying to figure out how you throw a flag for false start and then review the previous play.

The best part is we start with the ball and we have a team that can come back and play all 4 quarters. We will find out if Ark can.

We need to come out in the second half and fix the mistakes. Lots of 22 and 3 to get the hog defense worked up. GMac needs to shake off the picks and the D needs to step up, Mallet is picking them apart. With that said he is the best QB we will face this year, IMO.

Man I'm disappointed by our level of intensity. This is definately a situation where we have to overcome adversity-most of it of our own making.

i think the 2 INTs sucked... but thats not whats killing us right now.
our offense will still roll, CJM will dial in the correct plays, their defense will not be able to stop us.
however, we cannot compete if our defense doesnt step up. their oline is doing well, we need to win the trenches there. put a little pressure on mallett and he will start to crumble again.
lets step it up D!!!

The refs are giving them the game, they have yet to call holding on them.
That 4th and 1 we had, should have been a first down. Good to see arkansas is keeping with the tradition of winning via ref. At least there arent any bounce passes yet.

That's not our biggest problem, if it's one at all. They're controlling us when they have the ball. Opposite story from last season's D. Our lack of domination up front leaves us way too vulnerable in the secondary.

We're getting beat by a good team...a team that's played better than us for 30 minutes. Nobody's fault but our own. But, it's something we can correct over the next 30 minutes.

no but the refs are spotting the ball badly, calling a TE that barely moved, when they had OL moving like crazy. Not to mentioned Darius' helmet ripped off by the face mask... those are none calls they are making big plays on. Thats my take on the game, we are making mistakes and the refs are making no calls.

Plus you are also telling people they cant post their opinions on the message forum. I did not degrade one member of the team or staff, but yet you attacked me. Please if you don't want to reads peoples opinions on the message forum please ignore them. But maybe one day we can figure out why you are being the way you are.

If we win, I'll consider the first half beneficial. If we lose, I'm afraid of the fallout for the rest of the season. Not sure why...it's just a feeling.

So many things so close, their bogus first down, the one Williams got and didn't get credit for, the fumble bouncing out of Barron's hands. Facemask penalty, the stoppage for review when they jumped offsides.... That stuff has got to even out at some point. Steady diet of Ingram coming. Hope they can't stop him. D needs to stay off the field. Only one 3 and out and that one was darn close.

Wow,sounds like a bunch of PMSing women on this thread. Just chill out, Arkansas is a hell of a team. You can't lose 9 starters on one of the greatest defenses from last year and not expect some growing pains. Everyone just chill out.

And the best thing about all of this is that we'll know by the end of this game whether or not we have a champion residing in Tuscaloosa. If there's a champion in this team as a whole, there won't be any doubt about it by the end of the game.

You are correct on those, but when Darius' helmet is ripped off by the Arkansas OL, I feel that something should be called. But we can get back into this.
