I don't wanna bench GMac..But I don't think it would hurt to give AJ a few reps & GMac some rest a couple of series..I miss the point in the season where the pundits were calling this possibly the best offense in Bama history . . . .

I think we need our WAR face!Lacking a gameface mood, I decided to change my avatar for the rest of the game.
Most of these guys on offense were there last year and know what it takes, mentally and physically, to win football games. That is why they should have built on the experiences they had last year and be a better unit. It's not just a matter of physical drainage. Mental drainage plays a big role as well.
I've wanted to use the 'recharge' excuse myself...but then I realize barney hasn't had a week off either and their offense is just sick. Ugh.
Not noticing an offensive lineman is a good thing.Fluker isn't playing. The coaches gave McCullough (his back-up) one of the player of the week awards last week. I haven't noticed his performance tonight.
I'm with you,but the coaches know best.I don't wanna bench GMac..But I don't think it would hurt to give AJ a few reps & GMac some rest a couple of series..
I know they haven't blocked 34 for Tennersee yet, I hope they start or Gmac will be knocked out.Fluker isn't playing. The coaches gave McCullough (his back-up) one of the player of the week awards last week. I haven't noticed his performance tonight.
Co-signAt least ESPN won't be back in the locker room anytime soon. I think it created a rock star mentality and hurt leadership development
I wonder if Saban will look back and wish the team had been a little more low key.At least ESPN won't be back in the locker room anytime soon. I think it created a rock star mentality and hurt leadership development
Even with the experiences last year, they're still drained from the stretch they've had to run. Most of these guys on offense were there last year and know what it takes, mentally and physically, to win football games. Well, there are a couple coa... oh never mind...I think the problem with this team is primarily mental in nature--it can't be talent or coaching.
I think the play calling could be better but besides that I agree with you on everything.I think the problem with this team is primarily mental in nature--it can't be talent or coaching. We seem to have lost the killer instinct and hunger--it's almost like our players seem like they are on cruise control out there on the field sometimes and just going through the motions. Of course, I could be wrong, but since the Duke game we simply have not been the same team.

Yea I reminded everyone of that last week. Fatigue cannot be used as an excuse for our woes on O.I mentioned that to a guy at work and he agreed, but also said Auburn hasn't played teams coming off bye weeks. Either way, I agree. Alabama doesn't look like it can hang, conditioning wise, with Auburn at this point. Not sure if that's a mental/confidence thing, or something else.
Trent all but confirmed this earlier this week in an interview on WJOX in Birmingham. He said that the team had forgotten HOW to win. He explained that they had sort of become robots, and forgot how to do the small and attention to detail that goes into winning.I think the problem with this team is primarily mental in nature--it can't be talent or coaching. Million dollar question. How do you change that?I think the problem with this team is primarily mental in nature--it can't be talent or coaching.
